ARGUS APNVG / PNVG-18 Quad-Tube Panoramic Night Vision
The ARGUS APNVG / PNVG-18 uses the genuine ARGUS panoramic housing and optical package. Four 18 mm image intensifier tubes provide an overlapping central binocular view with additional peripheral channels.
ARGUS specifies an approximately 100-degree total field of view. The selectable tube and mount options are shown against the live price before purchase.
Built to order - approximately 7 days before dispatch. This preparation period covers component sourcing, assembly, collimation, functional testing, vacuum testing, nitrogen purging and order preparation. It is not a delivery estimate.
Tube configurations
- NNVT4 GEN2+ green phosphor, FOM 1400.
- NNVT6L GEN2+ white phosphor, FOM 1600.
- NNVT Gen 3 green phosphor, FOM 1800+.
- NNVT Gen 3 white phosphor, FOM 1800+.
- Individual tube data sheets are supplied with the completed device.
- FOM 2000+ and other specific tube requirements may be available by request.
Optical and system specifications
- Platform: ARGUS APNVG / PNVG-18 housing and panoramic optical package.
- Tube configuration: four 18 mm image intensifier tubes.
- Tube format compatibility: MX-10160-style tubes, or compatible MX-11769-style tubes with the EGAC pigtail removed where appropriate for the build.
- Field of view: approximately 100 degrees total.
- Image layout: parallel central channels with outward-facing peripheral channels.
- IR illuminator: none.
- Collimation: completed and function-checked during assembly.
Housing and environmental specifications
- Housing: polymer, tan only.
- Mount interface: BNVIS dovetail or ANVIS ball-detent.
- Weight: approximately 798 g with NNVT tubes, excluding the external battery pack; final weight varies by configuration.
- Water resistance: tested to 2 metres for 30 minutes.
- Purge: vacuum tested and nitrogen purged after assembly.
