ATOM tube brightness response

ATOM image intensifier tubes feature Automatic Brightness Control (ABC), which gradually adjusts image brightness when ambient lighting conditions change. Following a sudden change in lighting, the image typically takes approximately 2–3 seconds to stabilise. This behaviour is normal for the fitted tube configuration.

The gallery includes photographs and through-tube footage of this BNVD-1431 configuration. Recorded colour and brightness may differ from direct viewing, and individual tube appearance can vary.
